I love my new blackberry!
Now I’ll be able to schedule your photo shoots right on my phone. When you set a date, I’ll send you a confirmation email and an invite to the photosession! That way it will be incorporated into whatever type of calendar you have. Either on your phone or your computer! Yay.

I’ve been working on a whole new technique for shooting. And its too early for me to say that I’ve mastered it. But so far I’m happy with the results. (Although they could have just been lucky shots).

Tanner is fascinated by my father’s John Deere Lawnmower. My dad took him for a ride around their property and Tanner squealed with delight the whole way. Later my cousin Tracy, (in from Florida for my Great Grandmother’s Funeral) took him out and brought him back asleep.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mother’s out there!

I spent Mother’s day, relaxing and watching TV with my husband and baby. I woke up with a stiff neck, so I just layed around all day, trying to recuperate from my stepson’s 8th birthday party yesterday. I made fruit kabobs, mac and cheese and subs for the party.

Someone left a note for the boys on the door that said,
“Never leave your treasure unguarded,
it looks as if your gifts have departed.”

There were clues hidden all over the neighborhood, so the boys had a blast on their “Treasure Hunt”. I had a big surprise waiting for them when they got back. ROOTBEER FLOATS!!!

We’ve had a rough week. My husband got laid off (the economy is horrible for anyone in construction right now) and on his way home his car broke down. (cost $560 to fix) and I have been so out of it that I missed an exam. He got me roses Just Cause.

Tanner had his 18 month appointment today. Here’s some info on his growth.

His list of words consist of:

Candy (I know…)

Pop (yeah I still know)

Water (not so bad huh?)

Ich Heisse Tanner (My name is Tanner in German)

And some others that I can’t remember right now.

He’s in the 25th percentile for weight, 90th percentile in height.

He still has issues with spitting up so we are eliminating Lactose now. (I’m lactose intolerant since his birth so it makes sense).

He is having surgery July 25th.

The doctors love him lol. She was very impressed with his development and his wonderful personality. (Wonder where he gets it. haha)

Silly Tidbits about Tanner:

If I say, “Where’s my Squeezies?” He gives me a great big hug.

He is sympathetic. His cousin visited and threw a fit. Tanner just bawled because she was so sad.

Gross, but funny, story: One of the girls at her daycare got sick on the floor and Tanner leaned over and made a really loud gagging noise. B/c That is gross! haha
