I wasn’t the official photographer for my BFF Jen’s wedding but she did ask me to be a bridesmaid and to shoot the getting ready photos. I had an awesome day shooting the shots that I love to shoot. When I edited the photos, I loved almost everyone of them.
This is a special “Heirloom” style picture. She has a photo of her grand mother and great grandmother in the exact same pose. I hope I did it justice!
L-O-V-E this Chapel. They say it was built by Monks.
Getting Ready Photos:
Before we hopped in the limo, I had a bottle of Raspberry Champagne chilling. It was so YUMMY! (and I don’t even like Champagne) Can you believe it only cost $6?
In the limo. How cute is she?
Details!
Loved this picture of Jen and her dad.
Pictures of Me… This dress was CURSED!
-Tanner cut it with scissors and the seamstress had to fix it. She did a fabulous job with my alterations (she had to take it in… WOOWOO!) Special Occasions in Amelia rocks!
-Right before we left in the limo, I got white nail polish on the dress. Lucky for me, we found a sharpie and colored that sucker in!
-Right before the ceremony my heel got caught in the hem of my dress and puckered it up. I yanked it free, thankfully that worked!
_ Right after the cermony my straps popped off! The clasp wasnt sewn on completely… Lucky for me (again) it was made to be strapless also.
Me and the husband
Great photos. I especially like the colors in the empty church.

That’s wonderful, that you got to share in your friend’s wedding day in two ways! Lovely getting ready shots!
