Clara is my oldest niece and will graduate in 2014. It has been a blast watching her grow up. I can’t wait to see the great things she will accomplish! These portraits were taken in our hometown of New Richmond, Ohio.
Little Miss H and her mother wanted to celebrate their time with Uncle Hammy by having a photosession. Aren’t Hammy and Miss H adorable? And Mom is gorgeous too!
Oh he’s just so adorable! We took these photos at Batavia Township Park. Levi was born on July 4th and he truly is the cutest little All American Boy!
When I was getting married, I wanted almost nothing to do with a veil. In the end I did settle for a veil that had the same pink and diamond colored details as my wedding dress, but I tucked it under my outrageous updo. (Imagine putting longer than waist length hair all up into an updo) I topped it all off with a beautiful pink and diamond-like Swarovski crystal tiara. – Hey it was 2005, don’t judge me! (I threw in a photo of me and my glorious tiara , just incase you were curious). Photo taken by Bob Sims Photography.
I’d like to offer my opinion on veils now that I am a photographer. I am a firm believer that veils add a romantic and slightly dramatic effect to your wedding day. When a bride puts on her wedding dress, she transforms from a beautiful woman into the most gorgeous person in whatever room she enters. But when she walks down the aisle with a beautiful veil (no matter what style… We’ll get to that later) she is amazing, mesmerizing with even a touch of mystery. Veils photograph so beautifully, that I almost wish I had put more emphasis on mine during my wedding day.
Here are some examples of gorgeous veils in wedding photos:
The princess wore her tiara under her veil and it was still just as gorgeous. I LOVE SMILING BRIDES UNDER VEILS!

I can’t believe I never blogged these photos. These are some of my most favorite Senior portraits ever. Rachel is a gorgeous girl and has already gone off to college. I loved the little touches of color in her lipstick and fingernail polish that she added. Rachel’s awesome brother styled her outfits and we both had a blast posing her. These were taken at her home, and at Ault Park. If you are interested in a styled Senior session, let me know! We can plan your outfits and even work with hair and makeup artists to make your photos special!
